Description

Labor Rules
These services assist companies in dealing with the complexities of employing workers in Japan. CVi will consult with clients to help them understand what is required to be in compliance with the local labor rules. Examples of this include drawing up and reviewing work rules and introducing new types of working hours such as discretionary work hours (Sairyo-roudou).

Labor Inspections
Companies are sometimes required to deal with inspections by various governmental agencies in Japan who regulate areas of human resources, social insurance and unemployment. CVi will consult with our clients to help them understand the labor inspection process. Examples of this include contacting labor standard inspectors and preparing corrective action plans for working hour management, overtime payments, management system for health and safety, etc.

New Company Start-up
New companies typically have to deal with a myriad of legal, regulatory and business issues. CVi will consult with our clients to help them get started in the areas of Labor Management required to run a business in Japan. Examples of this include completing HR related procedures such as submitting labor and social insurance notification forms to the relevant authorities.

General HRM Advisory Services
Beyond the areas mentioned above, there are additional subjects where companies may need assistance within their Human Resources. CVi will consult with our clients to help them in these additional areas. Examples of this include settling labor disputes pertaining to dismissals, sexual harassment and corporate downsizing.

Alliance-based Services
Beyond the areas mentioned above, additional areas that companies may require assistance on when operating a Human Resources Management System. CVi will consult with our clients, in conjunction with our alliance partners, to assist them in these additional areas. Examples of this include tax questions, accounting issues and company registration problems.

Assessment of the amendment to the Labor Standards Act

AttendancePro customers will receive priority support for this assessment.

Consultation for reexamination of company work rules

CVi will propose the reexamination of the company working rules for customers with the view to adjustments for current circumstances.

Assessment of payroll calculations

CVi will perform analysis to determine improved application of Information Technology in order to realise enhancements in the efficiency, compliance, and business continuity of payroll calculations.

Labor Consultation

This service is offered through our partnership with a Certified Social Insurance Labor Office.

Use of Services

Consulting service may be used in conjunction with CVi products or may be used standalone.

Service Unit

Service can be provided ad hoc (as a single consultation) or on a per phone call basis (minimum 30-minutes per call consulting time period).

Note: Consultations and all operations related to Labor and Social Insurance are serviced by a Certified Social Insurance Labor Consultants Office.
